The B-612 Story.

Engineer working inside a data center

B-612 was born from the idea that Remote Hands & Eyes support is an expertise on its own rights, which deserves one’s full attention.

Engineer installing a rack inside a data center

During his time as a Data-Centre Field Engineer, Ami witnessed first hand what it meant for companies not to have a reliable team to look after their network. Getting a new engineer for each ticket, starting from scratch every single time.

He wanted to take a different approach to Remote Hands. To come up with a dedicated alternative to Data-Centres’ usually fairly limited, inconsistent and often expensive Remote Hands offering. And that’s how B-612 was born in 2009.

The company has grown steadily over the years, expanding organically along side our customers. Today, B-612 teams work across 600+ sites around the world, managing network infrastructure on behalf of a wide range of colocation users in the CDN, Cloud, Gaming, Managed Services, Telecommunication and finance sectors, amongst others.

We’re certainly bigger and have a broader reach today than when we first started, but some things haven’t changed. Ami’s first customer remains a B-612 customer to this day. And several of his fellow engineers back then, joined the company in 2009 and have been working with us ever since.

The IT world is a small world so our reputation means everything to us. Technical excellence and customer satisfaction are imbedded in everything we do. We truly value our relationship with our customers and all our various stakeholders.

Our company has grown from building and nurturing these relationships overtime, and taking care of our people, because they all contribute to making us who we are.

B-612,
Trusted partner for your network infrastructure.

Our Company Name.

Ah, there is a story there. B-612 was in the reference number of one of the first tickets Ami ever completed as a Field Engineer. And he remembers it why? Because it’s also from one of his favourite books: The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

The Little Prince represents the child living in every single one of us and tells the tale of his journey on earth. And B-612 is the planet where he comes from: a tiny little dot in the sky.

So for us, the name B-612 encompasses a few essential things. It reminds us where we started from. That it is the time and efforts you invest in something that makes it special and unique. And that although we’re serious about what we’re doing, we shouldn’t take ourselves too seriously.
